Full Time Assistant Equestrian Director Position open at YMCA Camp Willson, Ohio.Duties include working on a team of caring people and managing a herd of 50 horses.  Applicant will develop horse programs, teach lessons, lead trail rides, cookouts and overnights. The C5 Youth Foundation of Southern California is looking to hire a CHA certified Lead Horse Instructor to work at our residential summer camp located in Hyattville, Wy. C5 is a leadership development program for select, high potential, inner city youth showing an aptitude for success. Lead Instructor must have experience leading trail rides, teaching basic horse care and ranch work, as well as the ability to implement and facilitate C5 equestrian curriculum. Help youth develop leadership skills through horseback riding activities. Live and work on a beautiful sprawling facility near the foothills of the Big Horn Mountains. University of Connecticut - Lecturer in Equine Science, Storrs, CT. This is an 11-month, non-tenure track appointment, annually renewable based on performance at the rank of Lecturer in the Department of Animal Science, College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, University of Connecticut. The Lecturer will be expected to teach several academic (credit) courses related to the use, training and riding of horses and to oversee a large and successful extracurricular (non-credit) riding program. A Bachelor degree is required. A M.S. or M.A. in Animal Science, Education or closely related field and/or college level instruction is preferred. YMCA Camp Manitou-Lin is looking for An Assistant Equestrian Director – Our goal is to build better people through our programs and activities. This position is routinely involved with the care and feeding of our herd of horses, as well as programming for lessons, overnight camp, and day camp.
